Grill Brush 3X by Quartermasters

WOAH! This grill brush is the granddaddy of all grill brushes! It's super heavy duty and I'm supposed to tell you that my husband said it's better than any grill brush he has tried yet. At first he thought it was a bit heavy but then he said after using it, for what it does, it's the perfect weight. You don't have to apply too much pressure to get this thing to work, and work very well. It took less pressure and strokes to get the brush to do what most grill brushes do in twice the time. 

The grill brush also has a wider brush part, which also reduces the time necessary for cleaning the grill. One of the great things about the brush is that it doesn't scratch the grill all up. It can be used for both charcoal or gas. Personally, we love using charcoal. But as you can imagine with charcoal, there just seems to be more mess. Broom and Mop Organizer by Home-It

We have a broom and mop organizer but it is nowhere as nice as this one. The one we currently have you set the broom handle in the slot and then pray. We just pray it doesn't hit us in the head before we can close the pantry door. It was so nice to be able to try the Broom and Mop Organizer by Home-It. I am thoroughly impressed with the way it works and the quality of the product itself.

The organizer is easy to install. We used anchor bolts but you can just screw it in if you would like. I like that each ball can hold up to 7 1/2 pounds. It's so nice to have everything in one place. So far, no mops or brooms have fallen out of the hooks. I know over time it may wear down but right now, I'm loving this little organizer. It holds up to five brooms or mops. I haven't done a test yet to see just how much it will hold. This holder may move just two more times. One time will be when my husband moves it to the garage, he wanted this to organize the garage and the second time will be when we finally move out of our house. 

Bottom line? Loving it right now. I will update every few months to let everyone know how it is holding up. I couldn't have asked for a cooler organizer than this.

Wine Chiller Stick By Vivente Wine

I love that this wine chiller stick has a stainless steel chiller stick. That's what makes this wine chiller awesome! You can tell some time has been put into the design of the chiller stick because of the pourer and the stopper. You can now aerate one glass at a time and not waste an entire bottle. It's very portable which is excellent if you are going to a party of any kind where wine is served. It would be perfect for a romantic picnic somewhere. 

The size of the chiller stick and pourer is ideal. It's 12 inches long and and the mouth width is one inch. It also only weighs 3 ounces. I put the chiller stick in the fridge and it was the optimal temperature to chill the wine which was room temperature. I know it says it keeps the temperature for about 45 minutes to an hour but it seemed a lot longer to me. This works as a perfect pourer as well. This is an all around great product to have if you are a wine lover.

Reacher Grabber by Calibre Products Ltd

I have osteoporosis and because I do, my bones crack very easily. Sometimes it hurts too bad to bend down and pick something up. I have to say that when I first showed this to my husband, he played with it like a teenage boy might. I would ask for the remote, out with come the reacher grabber. This happened with item after item. When I quit laughing (which really hurt because of the broken ribs) I finally confiscated it from him.

This really is a durable little guy. This is an outstanding tool for those who may have problems with heavy grabbers. It's very lightweight. The trigger squeezes very easily and it has grippers on the handles for those who might have a hard time holding on to the trigger because of arthritis or who are going through physical therapy.

This grabber can also handle weight without buckling because of the pressure. It's just an all around great thing to have. I ended up giving it to my Godmother after I used it for a week because she gave hers to someone else because they needed it. In my opinion, she totally upgraded. I miss the grabber. It helped out a lot. I do have back issues as well and while using the grabber, my back issues got a little break for a while. Aloe Super Youth Eye Cream by Yalmeh

I have tried a lot of eye creams recently and they all work to some extent. I really like the Yalmeh super youth eye cream. I've noticed that as I've gotten older, I'm starting to see age spots on my face. Not very bad at this time so now is the time when I want to find something that will work. I did see some improvement but not a drastic improvement. I have been using it for about three weeks now. I sometimes get dark circles under my eyes when I can't sleep at night and haven't seen much difference in the way of the taking away of the dark circles under my eyes. It does however work AMAZING as a moisturizer! 

The Super Youth Eye Cream contains vitamin C and E. I think these vitamins work very well in the eye cream. I did as they said and made sure that my face was cleaned first and then dipped my middle finger into the cream and put little dots under my eyes. One thing it didn't say and I've been told to ALWAYS do this when applying moisturizer is to apply in upward strokes from under the eye, around the eye and then up. This reduces the likelihood of making more wrinkles as the skin under your eyes is very sensitive.  

All in all, I love this as a moisturizer and did notice the lessening of wrinkles. But I didn't notice any other difference.

Sleep Better MP3 by NeuroBeats

Even though I signed up to review this item, I didn't have high hopes that it would actually work. I have an extremely hard time getting to sleep on most nights, and it's nothing for me to not sleep a few days in a row. My mind just doesn't relax enough to do so. This has been going on for more than five years. Yes, I'm desperate to find something that works and if I can do it without taking a pill, I'm all for that. First, I'll tell you a little bit about NeuroBeats and then I'll tell you how it turned out.

NeuroBeats is a company that has come up with an audio download that uses scientific research on brain waves and how it is connected to what we hear. They do this by using a repeating rhythm that the brain responds to. It is supposed to decrease anxiety and increase the amount of good sleep we get.

The first time I listened to this, I listened to it without headphones. The track I listened to was River with Delta Beats. Oh. My. Gosh! I started to feel more at ease and I could feel my anxiety just slipping away. I did start to get a headache after about 30 minutes. It felt like a squeezing in my temples. I don't know if this is why they tell you to listen to it for 30 minutes before you go to sleep or not. Anyway, I turned it off and could still hear the delta beats in my head. My headache lessened and I figured out with prolonged use and listening to it every day, I didn't get headaches listening to it anymore.

Now, when I did it the way they say to listen to it, I got no headaches. I used headphones and listened for 30 minutes (I had a hard time trying to stay awake) and then turned it off and went directly to sleep and slept the whole night! I kid you not. So for now, when I start to feel anxious during the day, I turn this mp3 download on and my stress just melts away and I have no idea how just listening to a recording can do that. I've listened to just rushing water, thunderstorms etc throughout the years but I never ever got results like this.

Safe Skins Spiral Slicer by Kitopia

This is a great product at a great price. If you're wanting to eat healthy, this is the perfect kitchen tool to do so. It's very simple to use and works like you would sharpen a pencil or a crayon. I have found that the firmer the vegetable, the easier it is to use. When you twist your cucumber, carrots or whatever you're using, it comes out looking like cooked spaghetti. This is great for not only presentation but for your health as well. 

I really liked that this product came with a cleaning brush, a cute little burlap looking bag. It's not burlap but cotton but it just looks so cute. It has a drawstring on it that pulls tight so you don't lose anything. The brush can be stored inside the spiral slicer. It has a black piece that you hold the vegetables with when you are using the slicer. Be careful though because the spikes on the inside will poke you. I think the only improvement I might make is that the piece I was just talking about that holds the vegetable doesn't screw into the slicer itself. I'm scared if someone doesn't put the slicer back in the bag, that piece would get lost. Other than that, two thumbs up. I love this little thing!

Heavy Duty Grill Brush by EliteChef

Just WOW! They aren't kidding when they say this is a heavy duty grill brush!  I put this grill brush on the table in the living room. Every time I walked by, that thing got me! My husband was out of town so I had put it there so he could see it first thing. So when I couldn't stop getting stuck by the bristles, I put it inside the grill. Then I forgot to tell him.  What an awesome surprise for him though because it was a family reunion and we were grilling out. Here was this shiny new grill brush that he couldn't quit talking about.

The handle is very sturdy. The bristles won't just last a little while and then fall out like some that we have purchased. This is 100% a product that any king (or queen) of the grill would love to have. The bristles are stainless steel and if you ever thought you had gunk on your grill that you would never get off, I challenge you to try this grill brush because it WILL remove anything you have caked on the grill plates. It was incredible. I know I keep saying that but dang! It really does work. If you look at the picture, you'll notice that there are bristles going up the bend of the brush as well. That is so you can get into tight places and get all that grime out. 

You have to give this one a try. It's one of the best products that I have reviewed yet and it made the big guy a very happy man!

Wine Aerator by Bar Brat

If you're looking for a wine aerator that is portable and efficient, you've found you little guy right here. This is a great aerator to instantly aerate a bottle of wine. I tried it at home and it's great for the price and the size. I love Bar Brat.  I recommend looking at all of their products before you decide on one. 

In case anyone doesn't know what an aerator does, The final result will be a bolder, richer taste of a even the cheapest bottle of wine. When you aerate a bottle of wine, you are allowing the wine to oxidize. While you are pouring the wine through the aerator, you can even watch the bubbles show in the aerator. Vitamin B12 Cream by Vita Sciences

I love these creams, I've used to others and they've both worked well for me, as did this one. Vita Sciences has done two things with their lotions. First, they've taken the pill supplements and turned them into a better deliverable product. Sometimes, I'm just not good at remembering to take supplements. They've also come out with a genius way to solve issues with our bodies. Everyone uses lotions, why not make it one that delivers what you need? 

The B-12 serum/lotion is great for me because my immune system has been low ever since I got the shingles. I never thought I would be one to get the shingles but upon researching more on the subject, I've found that it destroys your immune system. I'm on my way back but it's been slow going. The B12 lotion gets into my system and I don't have to worry about it anymore. It absorbs really quickly with a sweet minty smell. It's hypoallergenic so even those with sensitive skin can use it.

It's also great for dry skin. I put one pump on the inside of each wrist. They say you can add up to two pumps on the inside of each wrist. Each person is different. I live in a very dry climate so my skin is unusually dry. I can put one pump onto my face and I'm not only hydrating my face but fighting wrinkles as well. I love this product. Stainless Steel Vegetable Slicer by Exspiral

If you've never used a spiral slicer, you totally need to try one. They're fun to use and make meals that are healthy for you and your family.  I encourage my teen to use this to get veggies in to meals for people who hate eating veggies. There is a blade involved, so even though a teen is using it, I would highly recommend supervising them. 

This spiralizer works well with oblong vegetables like carrots, cucumbers, zucchini etc. All you have to do is put it in the end of the vegetable spiralizer and twist like you're sharpening a pencil. The first vegetable I tried was a carrot. I peeled the carrot before I put it in the spiralizer and was amazed at how it came out. It honestly looks like orange spaghetti. The presentation on the plate looked delicious. It's a great way to introduce healthy options into your meals and this would be something that even finicky eaters would like. When you have little ones, it's all in how the meal is presented to them. 

Another thing I like about this is it is non electric. It's summertime, which means a lot of camping. This is a great tool to take with you when you go camping. Veggie slicers are huge right now and I've found that for the price, this is one of the best.

This is a cute hat to have around for an emergency costume. The hat is made of felt and is durable. It also comes with a free bandana. The hat can be tied underneath the chin as well. I gave this hat to my step daughter who is 14 and she thought it was super cute. If a teenager thinks so, you know it is. It did fit on my head very well but on hers even better. Skin Conditioning Gel by SKLEER

I live in a very dry climate and with hormonal changes, my skin is just awful. It's extremely dry, sometimes I get splotchy places on my skin and even the texture is changing. I have tons of serums, lotions and gels for my face that work but I don't have anything for the rest of my skin. When I saw SKLEER'S skin conditioning gel, I figured I had nothing to lose. The company says it will do great things and honestly, the reviews were amazing. So I tried it and yes, I was very pleased with the results. 

I am a fragrance oriented person first and foremost. If I think I'm not going to like the smell, I either won't buy it (if I'm in the store) or I make my husband try it first. This skin conditioning gel has a strong scent to it that smells kind of medicinal. I late looked up the ingredients and figured out why. On the bottle it says the ingredients are: Eucalyptus Oil, Tea Tree Oil (this was the main ingredient I was smelling), Cardamom Oil, Caraway Oil, Cinnamon Oil and it goes on to list other ingredients. My husband uses Tea Tree Oil for a lot of things so I figured he would like it. He also has dry spots that he's not been able to find anything to help heal it. The gel is thin so you don't have to use very much. I just used one drop and it covered my whole hand and half of my arm. It really doesn't feel sticky and I think it's because of the alcohol denat in it. It does take a few seconds to dry but it feels oh so good when it does. You really will be able to see a difference between the skin you've added this gel to and the skin you haven't. This little tube will last you a while. 

The Verdict:

After Dave used it, he said great things about it. It made his skin feel more hydrated and he actually loved the smell. I smelled his skin about five minutes after he put it on and the smell was nearly gone. The gel had soaked into his skin and I couldn't believe the difference. So since he had such great results, I figured I would try it. I didn't put it on my face like other people have but I did put it in problem spots like my elbows, my knees, my legs and the backs of my feet. In about a week, my skin felt soft and it looked really hydrated. I still faintly smelled the ingredients of the gel but nothing I couldn't handle. Dave would wear this all the time whereas I would only wear this at home. I am a big Bath and Body Works fan and I love them for the fragrances. They seem to dry out my skin though. So as long as I have SKLEER on hand, I will wear it at home and the Bath and Body Works when I go out. That is based solely on the scent. 

I also want to add that my husband travels a lot. The size of this skin conditioning gel is 1 ounce. This is the perfect size to travel with. In fact, I don' t know if this company makes a bigger size but we could even go up to 3 ounces and still be ok with TSA. I'm really glad I got to try this skin conditioning gel. It is something that I will be recommending to other people.

Tree of Life Fret Inlay Sticker by Gracebuy

I never would have thought about a fret inlay sticker but I have to say, it will make your guitar stand out. I tore into this sticker set the minute it came in. It doesn't come with instructions but you can look at any picture to see how to apply it. It also comes just like the image on the right, in one sheet. You can cut the sticker sheet up the middle or leave it as is and just apply it how it came in the package. The stickers themselves are a shiny silver which looks even more beautiful when the light catches it.

It is also made with breaks in the sticker so that it can fit 19. 20. 21, 22 or 24 frets. It is also made for both electric and acoustic guitars. In my opinion, it would look best on an acoustic guitar just because of the look it gives off. It really does turn an ordinary acoustic guitar into something no one else has. You will be asked about it quite often. I like that the stickers didn't lift and peel when running your fingers down the neck of the guitar. The sticker is also super thin so it won't change the sound when playing. It just feels natural like the sticker was a manufacturer option. 

I think any guitar player in your household will love this design. It's unisex so it doesn't look too girly or manly. This is really a quality sticker that doesn't rip, lift or peel. It's easy to apply. I can' t say for the removal part of the sticker though because I'm not taking this off!  I loved it!

Nourishing Skin Oil - Stretch Mark Oil by B.O.N Skincare *Giveaway*

BON is known the world over for this magical blend of nourishing skin oil. If you're dealing with dry skin, which I most certainly am, this skin oil will be your best friend. It also helps skin that is stressed, skin that is showing fine lines or wrinkles, an uneven skin tone and it helps with your skin's elasticity. As I'm getting older, I'm noticing that my skin is not acting at all like it used to. When dealing with any types of skin oil, this is a plus. Without a spray bottle, things tend to get messy. With BON, I don't have to worry about getting oil everywhere. The smell is heavenly. Again, think day spa. It's not a heavy perfumey smell like most oils that have fragrance added to it. It has a very subtle floral, clean smell to it. I was impressed with this fragrance because when I put this on my face, I don't want to be smelling something overpowering  all the time. Before I forget, I need to mention that I am allergic to most skin oils. Those bath oil beads that you put in the bath, really make me itch and it's so frustrating. I'm not sure exactly what it is that I'm allergic to but I was amazed that I did not have one single bad reaction. 

The way I used this skin oil was right after I got out of the bath, I toweled off and then added the oil on my legs, stomach and arms. It didn't have a greasy feel to it like most other skin oils I've tried. I did have to wait a few minutes though until it absorbed into my body. My skin was left feeling so soft and moisturized. It really was a night and day difference. As most moms out there, I have stretch marks on my lower abdomen. It doesn't matter what I try, they never go away. Thanks to BON, while they haven't completely disappeared, I am noticing that my stretch marks are starting to fade a bit. I'm really eager to see how they look when I'm done with this bottle. I will definitely be buying another bottle when this one is done.

I am a baker at heart and whenever I have a little free time or if I'm blowing off steam, the kitchen is where I like to be. When I saw these silicone baking cups from Kitopia, I knew it was something I really needed to try. I hate coming home from the store only to realize that I forgot to get cupcake liners. It's one of those things that I just never remember. Kitopia has come up with a way to make sure that never happens and that you have moist and delicious cupcakes every time you bake. They have so many more uses than just cupcakes though too. You can use them to put toppings for sundaes in and your little ones can decorate their own sundaes. Organic Cold Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil by Nura Natural Skincare

I've never used a Rose Hip Oil before so I wasn't really sure what to expect but I was pleased with the results I got from using it for this past month. The first thing I should address was the packaging. A lot of times when I'm shipped products in glass containers (or some plastic ones as well) the results aren't very favorable for the packaging. There is no way that this oil is going to get loose. It is shipped in a green cardboard box which I will add with this review but inside the box you'll see that it is held together by more packaging. It isn't possible for it to get knocked around and break, unless you have a really upset postal worker throwing packages around.:) Then when I took the glass jar out of the package, it was very elegant and pretty. It really gives you a calming and relaxing feel.

Now for the results of the what it did with my skin. I found that my skin absorbed it very well. It felt very soft and supple. I had a youthful glow without it being shiny. My skin tone was more even and I didn't have any red blotches that seem to be breaking out on my face for no reason. I followed the directions on the box and massaged 3-4 drops into my just washed face twice a day. I did this for one month and am even getting compliments on my skin.  This oil is good for all skin types including sensitive skin and is great for rosacea and psoriasis. It's also great for scars of different types. And you'll notice any wrinkles you may have start to fade. The scent of the rose hip oil itself is sort of spicy or maybe woodsy might be a better term. I thought it might smell like a floral smell and it does, sort of, but whatever smell it is is very pleasing. It reminds me of maybe a unisex smell. This would be a great product for both men and women alike.
