BBQ Grill Light by Yumms!

We are a family who loves to grill out no matter what the weather and most of the time, no matter what the time. BBQ Grill Mat by Yumms!

I thought this product was such a neat idea and solved a problem in our household about how nasty your grill can get without something protecting the grill grates.  Oh how I hate cleaning burned on BBQ sauce. I would rather clean the bathroom and that's one of my "I hate to clean" rooms! When I first saw the grill sheets, I was thinking there is no possible way this is going to stand up to direct flame in the grill. I kept thinking "what if it makes an even bigger mess and I have to clean the plastic off of the grill?" My husband was of the same frame of mind. He didn't have much confidence either. I love it when products do what they say and it actually comes as a shock to us.

I'd like to mention that we didn't put our grill mats on the grill while the flame was still high. We waited until it died down and then put them on. They are so cool. I know, I seem overly excited about them but really, when I see my food cooking on the grill and they still have the charcoal lines, that's just super cool to me. We made BBQ ribs on the Yumm! grill mats. I figured, if I'm going to review these, I'm going to throw whatever I can at it to make sure it works. I was shocked that the sauce didn't burn on the mat. The mat didn't melt and it was as though the ribs were cooking in their own juices. And the taste! Those ribs were the best tasting ribs we've made. There was absolutely no difference in how we made them other than using the grill mats.

The grill mats come in a pack of two. They're a good size at 15" x 13". Our grill is big so we used both of the mats together. They can be cut down if you are camping and have a smaller grill. And the best part, you can even use them in the oven! This Amazon listing says the mats can withstand 450 degrees and the package says 500 degrees. I never cook over 425 degrees, so I can't tell you how well they work in the higher temperatures. My cookies came out PERFECT! They didn't burn or crumble.
