Digital Kitchen Scale with Removable Glass by Smart Weigh

I have to say, upon opening the package that held this scale, I really wasn't aware how professional and sleek it was going to look.  I was impressed right away. Even in a brand new house, this scale is going to be a topic of conversation in your kitchen. It's just absolutely gorgeous. It has a modern looking reflective tempered glass for the base and then has a glass weighing platform. The measurements are displayed a cool digital reading with LED.

If you are wanting to just use the base, it's super easy to unscrew the glass base and weigh your food directly on the scale. You can also pick the different type of weight measurement. You can measure liquids or food. I love that this scale has a tare option. If you want to put blueberries in a bowl, just put the bowl on the scale, hit the T and then add your blueberries. When you hit the T, it will bring the digital reading down to 0. When you put the blueberries in the bowl, only the blueberries will be weighed. It's so much easier than just trying to guess how much the bowl weighs. You would be surprised at how often you are wrong.

The one thing I found with this digital scale is that it is consistent 99% of the time. There is always going to be that 1% error. I've not had a scale that was this consistent up until now. I'm trying really hard to see if portion control is the way I want to alter my eating or if I should just do a calorie count. I have to say that with this scale being so fun, it looks like portion control is the way I'm leaning. This scale takes 4 AAA batteries. I use the rechargeable kind so I'm not throwing money away on batteries all the time. It also comes with a 2 year manufacturers warranty so you know they really do back their product.

Bottom Line? Smart Weigh just make it super fun for me to control the portions I eat each day. I love it.

I received this product in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
