'Playdate' Silicone Nursing and Teething Necklace by Chew-Choos

Today I am reviewing something I only wish they had when I was around.  It's a teething and nursing  necklace that stays on the mothers neck while either holding the baby or while nursing for the baby to play with. This is a genius idea because I know in my case, my kid kept pulling my hair while I was trying to breast feed her or hold her to go to sleep. I actually had to cut my hair because of it.

This necklace is used to keep your child occupied but it also serves as a sensory object for special needs children which I think is really cool.  It is a non toxic necklace that can even be worn by moms who have sensitive skin when it comes to jewelry.  I know a lot of women can't wear anything but gold and you certainly don't want an infant pulling on a solid gold necklace. It can also be used as a stress reliever.  I have seen a lot of people rolling a bead chain in their hands to relieve stress.  This necklace is PERFECT for that. It also doesn't pull your hair!  That right there sold me on this necklace.

I contacted the seller because before receiving it, I had a question about the size of the silicone beads and the possibility of the child swallowing the bead and choking. I actually thought that the child held it or played with it, not the mom actually wearing it.  The seller told me the mom is to wear it and there is no way the child can choke on it because the bare cord is almost indestructible.  It is made to be wet and it doesn't rot as a lot of cord does when wet and left to dry on it's own. If the necklace shows any wear, you do need to throw it away. This is also not meant for mature teeth. 

Another really cool thing about this necklace is it is dishwasher safe.  You can also wash it with soap and water and leave to dry.  This necklace has so many uses.  It would also be perfect for older children who like to play dress up. This would make a perfect gift for a baby shower or new mom.

Bottom Line?  With so many uses, being safe for children, being dishwasher safe and it doesn't pull your hair, this is a must have product.  I'll be buying more in the future.
