BON is known the world over for this magical blend of nourishing skin oil. If you're dealing with dry skin, which I most certainly am, this skin oil will be your best friend. It also helps skin that is stressed, skin that is showing fine lines or wrinkles, an uneven skin tone and it helps with your skin's elasticity. As I'm getting older, I'm noticing that my skin is not acting at all like it used to. My skin is thinner which has brought a whole other set of problems than just the showing of a few wrinkles and dry skin. I really like that it has avocado, grape seed and rose hip oils but what really makes this one of my most loved products is what it doesn't have. It does not contain mineral oil, paraffins, BHT (which is a chemical that is added as a preservative), colorants, preservatives or harmful chemicals. In the world of me, what this product does not contain is huge!
This product won me over from the time I saw the packaging. The design of the bottle along with the overall feel of it reminds me of a day spa. I love that it comes in a spray bottle. When dealing with any types of skin oil, this is a plus. Without a spray bottle, things tend to get messy. With BON, I don't have to worry about getting oil everywhere. The smell is heavenly. Again, think day spa. It's not a heavy perfumey smell like most oils that have fragrance added to it. It has a very subtle floral, clean smell to it. I was impressed with this fragrance because when I put this on my face, I don't want to be smelling something overpowering all the time. Before I forget, I need to mention that I am allergic to most skin oils. Those bath oil beads that you put in the bath, really make me itch and it's so frustrating. I'm not sure exactly what it is that I'm allergic to but I was amazed that I did not have one single bad reaction.
The way I used this skin oil was right after I got out of the bath, I toweled off and then added the oil on my legs, stomach and arms. It didn't have a greasy feel to it like most other skin oils I've tried. I did have to wait a few minutes though until it absorbed into my body. My skin was left feeling so soft and moisturized. It really was a night and day difference. As most moms out there, I have stretch marks on my lower abdomen. It doesn't matter what I try, they never go away. Thanks to BON, while they haven't completely disappeared, I am noticing that my stretch marks are starting to fade a bit. I'm really eager to see how they look when I'm done with this bottle. I will definitely be buying another bottle when this one is done.
