Massage Oil Candle by e-voke

I've always been one to go crazy over candles.  I have always been that way and I'm pretty sure I always will be.  Up until a few years ago, I never even knew about massage candles. I was in a store in the mall when I found it, thinking it was just an ordinary candle until the sales rep lady told me exactly what it was.  I thought it was the coolest thing ever.  Although it was pricey, I knew I had to buy it and that day became the day I went in search of the perfect massage oil candle.

Many candles later, I can honestly say that not all massage oil candles are created the same. And this is where I would say "you get what you pay for". But in reality, that just isn't true. There has been something wrong with each one I've tried, up until now. I purchased the baby powder scent. Ordinarily, baby powder wouldn't have been my first choice, but when I read what made up the scent, I thought I would give it a try. E-voke mixes white cedar, ylang ylang, cypress and musk to produce the baby powder scent. It smells like heaven.

Right when you take this candle out of the box, you can smell this amazing scent. It isn't a very strong baby powder, which I liked, but it had this very comforting smell to it.  I can't put my finger on it but I instantly cheered up when I opened the box. I am a fragrance fanatic.  Most of the time, the stronger the better. This candle has just the perfect amount of fragrance.  After lighting it, I thought the fragrance might get stronger, but it didn't. It didn't lose the amount of scent that most candles do upon lighting. I waited about 15 minutes for the wax to melt before putting it on my skin.  I have neck as well as back issues, so my amazing man is constantly rubbing my back or neck. The pain is decreased with massage so adding this massage oil candle helps more than I can tell you.

I live in a very dry, hot climate as well, so I'm constantly using lotions and oils to hydrate my skin.  A lot of the massage oils have something in it that I'm allergic to.  I start breaking out wherever the oil is applied. Not one time did this happen with my massage oil candle.  It really did feel like heaven. At first, my skin soaked up the oil faster than Dave could put it on my skin. That's how dry my skin is, but when my skin was done soaking up the oil, it started turning so soft and supple. Not once did my skin break out so I can confidently say that this massage oil candle is safe for sensitive skin.

The seller told me that the scent of the candle wouldn't be as strong as a normal candle because if they added as much scent as a normal candle, it would irritate your skin.  I thought it was very professional of him to disclose that to me. Again, I had no issues with the scent whatsoever. It is fragranced with essential oils so you know it doesn't have any harmful chemicals in it. E-voke also uses only natural ingredients in their candles. It's a soy wax candle with the added benefits of aloe and vitamin e. I love anything with aloe in it because it leaves my skin so silky soft. Vitamin e has been proven to repair damaged skin.

One more thing that just made e-voke my number one "go to" for candles is all of their candles are hand poured and made in the USA. Our family tries to only buy products that are made in the USA. As I'm sure you know, it's almost impossible to find products made in the USA so I'm thrilled when I do find them. I've used this product for about 2 weeks now and I still have a lot of candle left. Here is a picture of what I have left.

Their other scents are:
Sandalwood and Cedar
Fantasy
Tropical Paradise
Minty Koala
Indian Jasmine
Exotic Gardenia
Day at the Spa
Mango and Tangerine
Luxurious Lavender
Vibrant Vanilla

There are so many I want to try but can't figure out what my next one will be. From now on, I'm done with Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body works and White Barn Candles. I'm all about e-voke's candles from here on out. They remind me of Henri Bendel candles. They're spa quality at it's finest.

If for any reason you don't like the candle, e-voke offers a 100% money back guarantee. You can't beat that guarantee.

I received this product in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.
