I really wished I lived in a colder climate because the person who ended up with this beautiful shawl was my mom. I live in the west, so it's not like we even had a winter. I thought this shawl was very pretty when I saw it in person for the first time. It has two pockets in the front which come in very handy. I always carry my phone with me and then half the time I'm carrying my credit and debit cards so the pockets are ideal. I know my mom is the same. The pockets are deep too so I know whatever is put in the pockets is there to stay. It won't slip out.
The measurements of this shawl are wonderful. It's 28" wide and 78" long. It's very versatile. You can wear it like it has a collar or you can wear it as if it doesn't have a collar. It has fringe so this would look super cute paired with a cowboy hat and cowboy boots. I chose the black because most of my closet is dark clothing but it also comes in pink as well. I loved everything about it.
